Malta Citizenship For Exceptional Services
The Malta Citizenship for Exceptional Services by Direct Investment (ESDI), is the the new route to Citizenship aimed at the ultra-high net worth individuals from all over the world which was recently introduced to replace the old Individual Investor Programme (IIP) originally launched back in 2004.
The programme obliges individual investors to prove a minimum period of residency of 36 months plus make a minimum contribution along with a real estate investment and donation. There is also the option of an expedited route which requires a higher front contribution but with evidence of a shorter residency term. The benefit of the programme is the road to obtaining a Malta Passport which in turn grants European citizenship with the ability to live, work and study anywhere in the EU making this programme at the forefront of the Investment Migration market.

Malta’s Golden Visa better known as Malta Permanent Residency by Investment Programme (MPRP) offers a low-cost permanent residency option for families seeking residency within a European country.
Introduced in March 2021 to replace the highly successful Malta Visa and Residency Programme (MRVP), the MPRP is a straightforward residency programme through a combination of property investment and government contributions offering non – EU, EEA or SWISS nationals the peace of mind of residing permanently in Malta and travel visa free in all Schengen Countries. This is particularly attractive to investors looking to include several generations under one application as it allows for the main applicant’s spouse along with dependent unmarried children of any age and also for the parents or grandparents on either side of the family.
