ST. ANGELO’S MANSIONS is a corner development of luxury apartments on the waterfront which forms part of The Cottonera Waterfront rehabilitation project, a registered Special Designated Area (SDA) in Vittoriosa.
The Cottonera rehabilitation Waterfront project comprised the regeneration of the grounds (some 34,000 sqm) surrounding Fort St. Angelo, and the restoration of the historical buildings, which included, The Birgu Menqa, a wet ditch or sea enclosure touching fort St. Angelo, Fort St. Angelo itself with its underlying Seagate vaults and tunnels, The Caraffa Palace, a 3,000 sqm building on three floors having a large 80 mtr frontage on the waterfront, and the Vittoriosa harbour to be turned into a fully-fledged Yacht Marina offering pontoon berthing and yacht service to large super yachts.
Having a prime setting on the waterfront, overlooking three distinct locations; The Grand Harbour Marina on one side, Fort St. Angelo and Birgu Menqa the second side, and Bighi and Kalkara the third side, the development comprised just over a 100 luxury apartments measuring 140 sqm each all enjoying open and fantastic sea views.
The development has several ground floor retail units that serve the grand harbour marina, a Casino and a number of restaurants situated along the seafront, and an adjacent historic building with vaulted ceilings which was converted into residence car park .
